“Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14
A year ago today, God walked me into a miracle.
More like, the Holy Spirit escorted me through circumstances that opposed me on every side, and a situation that very nearly injured a dear friend of mine. (If I know you in real life, I can tell you the entire story.) The day was a battle, as well as so many factors leading up to that day. Through it all, there was peace in my heart. I knew that the Lord was getting me there. He’d done so much already, and He wasn’t going to let this miracle fall through. There were already too many pieces that were put into place. He is a Father Who keeps His promises, and something so important to His daughter wasn’t something that He was going to let fall through the cracks.
All finally worked out. I breathed a sigh of relief that night. I praised God. And a year later, I still praise Him today. I don’t ever want to forget where He brought me from and where I am now, in any situation of my life.
He is a Father that cares for His children. And He won’t let us stay at the bottom. He will fight for you. You need only be still.
